HOPE

Hosted at Bel Air Church for the second time, the Ladies of ASCEND brought the ASCEND Women’s conference back to their home church. With keynote speakers Star Parker, Nancy Stafford, and returning guest speaker, Isik Abla, ASCEND Women were inspired to find HOPE in a world of chaos. This was the first year ASCEND introduced break-out sessions, which replaced the guest panel, with speakers Kathleen Cooke, Laurie Short, Star Parker, and Bible Art Journaling ministry, Pages & Grace.

ASCEND 2015

STAND

ASCEND Women gathered together in unity to STAND for one another as sisters-in-Christ. STAND, which is Strategically Take A New Direction, hosted Keynote speakers Lisa Osteen-Comes and CeCe Winans, as well as a guest panel including Star Parker, Lindsey Clifford, Maryann Ehmann, and Susan Summer. Women were encouraged to stand for something so that they didn’t fall for everything.

FOREVER FREE

ASCEND 2014 – FOREVER FREE was hosted by the Ambassador Auditorium, in Pasadena, CA. This dynamic conference was honored to host Keynote Speaker, Michele Bachmann, and ex-muslim and ordained minister, Isik Abla. Guest panel included Edwina Findley-Dickerson, LynnMarie Rink, Susan Isaacs, and Priscilla Chessher.

FEARLESS JOY

ASCEND Women’s conference began its outreach to women across the country and around the world with FEARLESS JOY. Hosted at Bel Air Presbyterian Church, special guest speakers such as Nancy Alcorn, Jennifer Rothschild, and Deborah Pegues, delighted guests with joyful praise, heartfelt tears, and fearless joy to glorify our Risen King. A special guest panel included Meagan Goode, Mary Hudson, Kim Door-Tilly, and Lucy Noland.

ASCEND Gathering

SPRING LUNCHEON

ASCEND Hosted a spring luncheon to bring the ladies together for support and encouragement. Guests from organizations such as the Salvation Army gathered at the home of Co-Host Susan Wehba, to hear testimony from inner-city women who had broken free of the bondage of poverty and homelessness.
